Both my wife and I were raised in Denver City, TX, a small town 80 miles southwest of Lubbock. I went to college at what is now called West Texas A&M in Canyon, TX. I always wanted to start my own business and accidently stumbled into the remodeling field by helping a friend roof houses after a bad hail storm in our area. This was my start in the home improvement business. Before I knew what was happening, people were asking me to install siding on their homes. This in turned lead me to work for the first siding company based in Lubbock. I was in charge of selling siding jobs while my wife learned all the in and outs of the the office and how to run a business. In 1983, we finally decided the only way to be in complete control of our business was to own the business.
My name is Kevin Ward. I was raised in Goldthwaite, TX and came to San Angelo in 1989 to attend Angelo State University. After graduating I spent some time learning the siding business at West Texas Exteriors. Over the years I spent some time teaching and in the financial service business, but have always enjoyed the home remodeling business. My family and I are very excited to bring the West Texas Exteriors brand to San Angelo.
